  • NBA: un super Bargnani non basta a Toronto

    Anche l’altro italiano in campo, Belinelli, offre una buona prestazione ma i suoi Warriors vengono sconfitti

    Andrea Bargnani mette a referto 23 punti in 41 minuti, ma non riesce ad evitare la sconfitta contro i Miami Heat; la franchigia della Florida riesce ad espugnare l’Air Canada Center grazie a un Dwayne Wade in versione “M.J.” 42 punti, 8 assist e 6 rimbalzi per il giocatore più in forma di tutta l’Nba.
    La sfida più attesa ad Est è certamente quella tra i Celtics dei “Big Three” (assente però Garnett) detentori dell’anello e i Cavaliers di LeBron James che nulla ha potuto contro Pierce, in serata magica, che ne mette 29 aggiungendo anche 9 assist; per il trascinatore di Cleveland “solo” 21 punti con 5/15 dal campo.
    Bella vittoria anche per gli Houston Rockets che superano in casa al Toyota Center Phoenix 116-112 trovando 30 punti del play Brooks, la vera rivelazione di quest’anno. Danno il loro contributo le doppie-doppie di Yao Ming e Scola (per il cinese 15 punti, 13 rimbalzi e 6 assist, per l’argentino 15 punti e 11 rimbalzi), mentre ai Suns non basta il prodigioso Nash, 32 punti e 13 assist.
    Ad Ovest vincono anche i Lakers (110-90 su Minnesota grazie ai soliti Bryant e Gasol) e gli Spurs (100-78 firmato Parker contro Washington), mentre Utah risolve a suo favore la bella partita di Salt Lake City contro i Nuggets: 97-91 con 25 punti di Deron Williams.
    Altri quattro successi casalinghi per chiudere il racconto della notte Nba: Orlando batte New Jersey 105-102 con i muscoli di Howard, Charlotte porta tutto il quintetto in doppia cifra per aver ragione di Atlanta (98-91), Detroit travolge Golden State 108-91 (non bastano i 13 punti, 5 rimbalzi e 3 assist di Belinelli) e infine i Chicago Bulls trovano un grande Ben Gordon (34 punti, 7 assist e 4 rubate) nel 117-102 su Milwaukee.
